Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Minh Khai, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the 544 Inspection Delegation stated: To implement the inspection plan for 2022 of the Politburo and the Secretariat, on June 13, 2022, the Secretariat issued Decision No. 544 to establish a delegation to inspect the leadership and directing of the implementation of the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee of the 12th term on strengthening the Party's leadership and rectification; preventing and repelling the deterioration of political ideology, morality, lifestyle and manifestations of internal "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" and some related regulations such as: Regulation No. 08- QĐi/TW on the responsibility of cadres and party members to set an example, especially members of the Politburo, members of the Secretariat, and members of the Central Committee; examine the contents stated in Regulation 37- QĐ/TW of 2021 on what Party members are not allowed to do; Conclusion No. 21- KL/TW on promoting construction and rectification of the Party and political system; resolutely preventing, repelling, and strictly handling cadres and party members who have degraded in political ideology, morality, lifestyle, manifesting "self-evolution", "self-transformation"; and a number of plans and programs to organize and implement.

Conference scene

To organize the assessment of the implementation of the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the Politburo and the Secretariat have specifically guided the inspection and supervision; proactively developed inspection plans, and focus on several contents in leading and directing the performance of tasks related to thrift practice, anticorruption, administrative reform, judicial reform, personnel work, especially in some socio-economic fields, such as the management of land and mineral resources, capital construction, the procurement of state budget, and error-prone content.

Through inspection, we could evaluate and promote the results achieved, as well as detect the shortcomings and limitations, find the causes to overcome, repair, and ensure the strict implementation of the policy in the work of Party building. Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai requested the Standing Committee of the Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee to develop a complete and honest self-inspection report in accordance with the prescribed outline and to coordinate with the inspection team during the implementation process closely.

In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister also requested members of Inspection Team No. 544 to conduct inspections by their assignment and operating regulations, ensuring objectivity, publicity, transparency, and efficiency without affecting the regular work of the local as well as the units that come to inspect.

At the conference, Ms. Mai Thi Thu Van, Deputy Chairwoman of the Government Office, and Deputy Head of the Inspection Delegation, announced Decision No. 544 of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee on the establishment of the Inspection Team; reported the inspection plan of the team. In August 2022, the delegation will directly inspect some units of Tra Vinh province.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ngo Chi Cuong, member of the Central Committee of the Party, and Secretary of the Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee, said that Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee actively grasped and implemented the contents of Decision No. 544. The Standing Committee of the Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee would like to accept the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai and commit to working closely with the Inspection Team to complete the assigned tasks successfully.
